The megaliths of Donbass – the legacy of ancient Hyperborea?
In the vicinity of the village Donskoye of Volnovakha district – unsightly rocky soil, where the surface of granite rocks. And yet there is a lot of randomly placed rock formations. This lost in Donetsk steppes area, which is the ordinary name of Lososina beam, is part of the ancient Hyperborea. So says a resident of the village don Alexander Shulga is associate Professor in the Department of criminal law disciplines Donetsk law Institute MIA of Ukraine, candidate of legal Sciences, and “part-time” – an Amateur archaeologist, who along with his son Artem proceeded several miles of steppes in search of the homeland of civilization.
While such studies of Amateur archaeologists discovered dozens of artifacts that, in their opinion, indicate that the ancient civilization of Hyperborea was located on the territory of modern Donbass.
“Near the village of don son, we found many different types of ancient stone structures, – has told “Illichivets” Alexander Shulga. – Made of 600 photographs of altars, petroglyphs, dolmens and megaliths and found that the stone artifacts of Donbas have very bolsaescola with the similar structures found in the North of Russia – Kola Peninsula. Our research has enabled to conclude not only that the megalithic structures of Karelia and the South-Eastern part of the Donbass have common features and some signs of homogeneity, but also to identify in the vicinity of the don is quite a big variety of places of worship. The altars, carved in stone in the form of bowls, as well as in the form of complex structures of menhirs and stone blocks; in the form of two bowls-twins; a large altar, carved in stone in the form of the tip of the spear; the seids in the form of large oval boulders; the formation of massive pieces of stone in the shape of drawer; rock formations in the form of megalithic pieces of stone with the profile of a human face; the menhirs, consisting of two rocks”.
According to the archaeologist-Amateur, such artifacts are only available in four rugged gullies and ravines of the massif of the once flowing rivers of Kalki. Megalithic complex of the don village occupies only 3 square kilometers.
Alexander Shulga gave several examples of ancient stone structures, discovered on the territory of the megalithic complex.
“Here are two huge, about 150-200 tons weight oval stone boulder, – said the archaeologist. One of them sawn, someone unknown.
Our reference. In Greek mythology Hyperborea is a legendary country where lived the descendants of the titans. Once in the North of our planet existed the ancestral home of one humanity, the mother of Culture. Fleeing from world cataclysm, its surviving inhabitants settled in various places of the Earth, forming the different Nations and tongues. In early editions of the myths of all peoples of the country mentioned as the country of mankind’s Golden age, or Paradise earth. The Greeks called this country Hyperborea, meaning “located behind the Northern wind Boreas”.
Official historical science the existence of Hyperborea does not recognize. However, there are many research communities and individual historians and enthusiasts, looking for and studying the artifacts, allegedly showing the existence of a mythical country.
The sawn off piece of a boulder the size of a car stands near the main boulder. A similar picture is seen on the mountain Vottovaara in Karelia. There is also someone sawed a huge stone megablok. Another example of similar artifacts that are thousands of miles away from each other, a menhir, found on the Kola Peninsula, and a menhir, found in the vicinity of the village of donske, they are very similar. Near the village also found a large stone box, built from huge granite megaliths in the origin volume of a three-story house. Near think that it’s just a pile of huge stones. However, if you move away from him at a distance of at least 25-35 meters, is clearly visible artificial structure similar to a gigantic dolmen. The walls of this box are about 10-12 meters high and 4-5 meters wide and resemble triangles, rectangles and squares. Two of them are poorly captured something like the full face of the human face. One of the stones of the wall, which stands on the far left in the West, even the face resembles the stone idols of Easter island, but the face is quite badly eroded by time and weathering, and therefore, to see him, ought to look attentively. Wall stone box covered two megaliths natural origin. On the largest of them – the length 10 m, width 7-8 m, thickness up to 1.5 meters, weighing about 200 tons – clearly split the Cup recess diameter of 50 by 50 cm and a depth of 40 cm. the bowl is about 20. If you look on one of the plates on the South side, the end of this plate resembles the profile of a human head. If you look at the design below, you can see a terrible monster in the form of a man with a long nose and round eyes”.
By assumption, Alexander Shulga, the megaliths are the result of activities early, very developed culture, which built complexes to live in. In the stone age these places were used as sanctuaries.
Materials about discovering and photos of artifacts discovered by archaeologists from the don sent to the international club of scientists for the study of Hyperborea (Russia) and the Russian geographical society. The Russians recognized that the menhirs in the Donetsk steppe and on the Kola Peninsula, look identical, and the artifacts found in the vicinity of the don, even older than similar objects in the North of Russia by several thousand years.
But the Koreans Amateur archeologist to a sensational opening are treated with caution. As said Alexander Shulga employees of Department of protection of archaeological monuments of Donetsk regional Museum of local lore, menhirs, dolmens and stone wells were elements of the culture of many peoples, so certainty about their belonging to Hyperborea impossible.
What local scientists believe is found on the territory of Donbass artifacts traces the mysterious Hyperborea, archaeologists from the village don’t bother. As noted by Alexander Shulga, “many great discoveries were at first not recognized by official science”. Together with his son, eighth-grader Artem, he is determined to continue his studies of remains of ancient civilization.
